Where Reach wins
- •15 contacts free instead of 3.
- •It runs on iPad too, with home screen widgets in three sizes and lock screen widgets.
- •You log what kind of contact it was, a call, an email, a video call or a coffee, with an optional note each time.
Where Ciao! wins
- •It is made for friends. Reach is made for freelancers and their clients, with fields for company and role.
- •$9.99 once, where Reach Premium is $39.99 a year.
- •One deck on Sunday, where Reach sends a morning notification for each contact who is due.
Which one should you actually get?
Reach and Ciao! work the same way underneath: a rhythm for each person, no account, and your data in your own iCloud. If you are keeping up with clients, or you need more than 3 people for free, Reach fits better. If it is friends you want to keep up with, Ciao! adds the Sunday deck, an animal for each friend and birthdays, and you pay once.
