Logging takes one swipe
No app on iPhone can read your messages, including this one. So the job was to make telling it take two seconds.

That is the whole log. One swipe on Sunday for each friend who is due.
Backdate with a tap
Spoke on Tuesday and forgot to say so? Tap the card: today, yesterday, or earlier.
Honest about the limit
Apple gives no app access to WhatsApp, iMessage or Instagram. Anyone promising otherwise is promising something impossible.
