The rows about Catchup come from its own App Store listing, read in September 2026, and from its update date. I checked getcatchup.app myself on 24 September 2026 and the name does not resolve. Where a cell says [CHECK] I could not confirm it without paying, so it stays blank. Nothing here is taken from another app’s reviews. The other app called CatchUp, by Ryan Token, is still going.

Where Catchup wins

•It is already on your phone, and if the reminders still arrive, nothing is broken today.
•80 people rated it 4.3, so it did the job while it was being made.
•Moving means typing your people in again. That is a real cost, and it is yours to weigh.

Where Ciao! wins

•It is still being made. The last update was this month.
•Three people free instead of two, then one payment of $9.99 rather than a subscription.
•Your notes stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. There is no account, and no server of mine.

What to do now

If it still works, you do not have to move today. Copy out the notes you want to keep first, whatever you decide: I could not find a way to export them without paying, so it is worth doing by hand before you delete anything.
