Where YourPond wins
- •25 contacts free. When you reach the limit nothing is locked or deleted, you just can’t add new people.
- •A world map of where your friends live and where you have travelled, and family trees that build themselves as you add relationships.
- •A gift log for ideas, gifts given and gifts received, with a nudge to say thank you.
Where Ciao! wins
- •$9.99, once. YourPond Pro is $100 a year.
- •No account. Your notes stay on your phone and in your own iCloud. YourPond keeps your data on its service, and it says it never sells it or trains AI on it.
- •Each friend gets a rhythm and a timer from the last time you talked, and shows up in the Sunday deck when they are due.
Which one should you actually get?
YourPond is for people who want the full picture: who lives where, who knows whom, and who came to the wedding. It also works in a browser, and the free tier is much bigger. Ciao! does a smaller job. It tells you which friends are due and helps you reach them, with nothing to sign up for and one payment.
